Learning the Avro Arrow and Our Story

   "Arrow206-Project206"

We are proud to be continuing the legacy of the "Avro Arrow"  and we are actually an Avro Arrow Aircraft Program.

Our journey began in 2018, but my story of wanting to see this incredible aircraft and to see it fly, dates back to the 1960s when I was just a kid. I remember asking my father, "Could the Avro Arrow be built again".

There was no resounding "NO" but an answer that captured my heart and soul. He said, "With a place, the right crew, money and time, I don't see why not".

Perfect...My vision is to build a flying replica that truly captures the spirit and innovation of the original Arrow.

We are committed to telling the untold true story of this magnificent feat of engineering, which was canceled before it had a chance to truly take flight.

Why Avro Arrow        RL206

Known as "RL25206" or the "6th" aircraft, this Avro Arrow was actually destined to become a test aircraft only, for now.

Remember the Iroquois PS13, was a new engine for this aircraft, and she probably would have flown at some point in her career.

RL206 was the cusp of greatness, for being the Next-Generation or Mk2 Avro Arrow.   "Arrow206-Project206" wanted to bring this storied aircraft to life and this time, allow her to soar over Canadian skies.

Our RL206, which is her call-sign, the RL25206 is her serial number, will be classed as a "Replica" and not a model.

We will be using advanced technologies and rigorously research historical data to create a faithful replica.

We also want to honour the original design. but also want to and have to, incorporate modern safety and efficiency features, in order to bring this 1950s legend to todays standard. And we still want to retain as much of the 1950s look as possible. So other than some internal workings that you wouldn't see, pretty much the cockpit will have those changes, and I promise that we will retro as much as possible to again retain that 1950s look and feel.

Join us in celebrating and reviving the legacy of the Avro Arrow.
